Heeeeeeyyyyyyy.....so I was gone for a little while huh? 3 months later, I'm back and ready to keep putting more hours into DA. Work has been ruining my relaxing time for summer, so I have not had much time to do anything personally interesting. Went for a few days vacation up at my family's cottage and what do you know, I can still take photos. I'll slowly trickle them in, instead of a barrage of images all at once, which will allow me to keep a good stockpile of things to bring in, and give me time to take more.

Hard to believe that the Fall semester is only a month or so away, and that I'll be moving in 2 weeks. Hoping that all of my gear survives the trip...4 blocks away.

I can't feature anyone at the moment, mainly because I haven't yet looked around yet since returning, but I will. Drop me a line if you thought I had dissapeared from the face of the earth, I know I thought I had for a little while.


It's good to be back.

I work entirely too much. I've had almost zero time for photography, not including what I do with it at work. I've been keeping an eye out here at DA, but only as much as my schedule will allow.

An update on the devMeet I was planning: No. I didn't get enough responses from people to make it worthwhile. Sorry to anyone who was really looking forward to it. If there is anyone who would like to meet up sometime here in Madison to go out and shoot a bit, if you're into the photography thing, I'd still be up for it.

Already into June and I've missed out on doing this.....

I don't have much to say about Turgut, except that his work is just plain awesome! It really does all the speaking for me. I see bit of Picasso, Dali and Escher come through his work, and it never fails to astound me. This is one person who I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more of in the future.

I wish to organize a Wisconsin devMeet, right here in Madison, WI. Possible dates for this event are:

#1: Saturday, June 19th
#2: Saturday, June 26th
#3: Saturday, June 12th

I'd like to hold it at the Wisconsin Memorial Union, located on the University of Wisconsin campus. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, so it will cover us in all types of weather. If you're interested in attending, please, let me know, and tell me which date(s) is best for you. Spread the word, I want to see a lot of people here!

I want to thank everyone for helping me all the way through to this point, I never thought I'd make 1,000...ever. Insignificant as it may seem to some, it means a lot to me.

I'm going to keep pushing myself to accomplish new and better things. More and more frequently I'm gaining inspiration from others here, and from my studies in school. So, once I figure out how to put those inspirations to work, I'll be sure and share whatever it is I come up with with all of you!
